Courts Extend Start Date for Jury Trials to November 9

Trial Court Chief Justice Paula M. Carey has announced that the earliest potential start date for jury trials will be extended to Monday, November 9, 2020. The Social Law Library will be virtually hosting Attorney Jeffrey L. Hirsch of Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP on October 22, 2020 for an online seminar from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This will be the 12th year for this popular program – a cornerstone of the Library’s annual CLE roster of programs. The Baker-Polito Administration announced a comprehensive set of resources, known as the Eviction Diversion Initiative, to support tenants and landlords during the financial challenges caused by the pandemic.
