On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the Social Law Library welcomed patrons to “DNA Evidence Primer: What You Need To Know” with Hon. Mary K. Ames, Superior Court, Hon. William F. Sullivan, Superior Court, Hon. Renee P. Dupuis, Superior Court, and Lynn Schneeweis, Deputy Laboratory Director—Forensic Biology MA State Police Crime Laboratory. Attendees learned about government-compelled DNA production, discovery and case management issues, evidentiary issues at trial and, post-trial testing issues under G. L. c. 278A from the expert panel. The Social Law Library would like to thank the faculty and attendees for their participation and for helping to make the event a success.
