Library hosts “Getting Fair Value For Your Client: Valuation Issues For Massachusetts Family Law Attorneys”

Posted: Nov 03, 2015

On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, the Social Law Library hosted “Getting Fair Value For Your Client: Valuation Issues For Massachusetts Family Law Attorneys” with Wendy O. Hickey, Esq., Merc D. Bello, Fern L. Frolin, Esq., and Hon. Rudolph Kass.  The faculty explained how attorneys should assess assets and interests, discover vital information, and present evidence in valuation cases.  Attendees learned about relevant case law, including Adams v. Adams and Benier v. Brenier, and how these cases should be applied going forward.  The Library thanks the attendees and the faculty for making the program a success.

In addition, the Library’s reference staff has put together a research guide on valuation resources for family law practitioners. Click here to view it!
