What do Fatty Arbuckle, Charles Ponzi, and Ed Gein have in common?  Besides being infamous criminals whose stories captured the front pages of American newspapers, they are just a few of the stories featured in Hon. R. Marc Kantrowitz’s new book ““Old Whiskey and Young Women: American True Crime Tales of Murder, Sex, and Scandal.”

On Thursday, October 22, 2015, Judge Kantrowitz recounted those stories and more with attendees in the Library’s event space.  Judge Kantrowitz described in lurid detail the particulars of each story with his signature wit and humor.  Following a Q&A session, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and were given a chance to purchase the book and have it signed by the judge.

The Library would like to thank Judge Kantrowitz.  For more details on “Old Whiskey and Young Women: American True Crime Tales of Murder, Sex, and Scandal” visit the book’s Amazon listing here.
