On Wednesday, February 19, 2014, Justice Margot Botsford of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Justice Mary T. Sullivan of the Massachusetts Appeals Court presented the Social Law Library's annual educational event “Appellate Year in Review.”  Justice Botsford reviewed a wide range of criminal cases starting at Pre-Trial and progressing to Trial, Post-Trial and Post-Conviction and Sentencing.  Justice Sullivan surveyed the most significant civil decisions decided by the Supreme Judicial Court and the Appeals Court. Topics included Administrative Law, Domestic Relations, Wills, Trusts, and Estates, Class Actions, Foreclosures and Title Insurance, Land Use, Wage Act, Public, Employee Retirement, Personal Injury, and Chapter 93A.  The Justices each answered audience questions following their presentations.  The Social Law Library would like to thank Justice Botsford and Sullivan for donating their time and expertise for the benefit of our members.
