Social Law is dedicated to making sure all of its members have access to, and know how to use, the very best online legal research tools. This spring Social Law and the Flaschner Judicial Institute teamed up to create a special training program to help judges make the most of online legal research tools offered by Social Law. On March 31 and April 9 groups of judges from the Superior, District, Juvenile, Municipal and Land Courts gathered to learn how to use the Social Law Library’s premier legal research databases. Social Law’s Senior Reference Attorney, Brian Harkins, Esq., provided hands-on training to judges on resources such as: how to use the new Lexis eBook digital library, Fastcase, HeinOnline, and much more. A judge from Boston Municipal Court commented, “It was nice to have a hands-on demonstration of what is available and how to navigate the holdings.” Another judge said, “I had no idea the Social Law Library had so many resources online. Thank you!”
Hands-on, customized training programs are available to all Social Law Library members. Please contact us today to learn more at
