Social Law Trainings for Members and Non-Members
I have access to what? We hear that sometimes. The Social Law Library offers so many online resources that it’s easy to lose track of them. While you may know that you have access to HeinOnline and Fastcase, do you know which specific resources you can find in them, or how best to mine the databases for useful material? For example, members enjoy access to current and past editions of regional newspapers including the Boston Globe, current and historical law reviews and bar journals, as well as non-legal periodicals and magazines. Don’t forget access to primary law for all 50 States and Federal. And of course, members with circulation privileges have instant access to over 1,000 eBooks. All of that and so much more is available online at Social Law!
Join us online the last Wednesday of every month for an informal webinar with one of our Reference Attorneys . If you’re a member, you may find something that you never knew we had. Perhaps it’s a subscription that you are paying for that you get for free through the Library. Or access to print material you use all of the time in eBook format. If you are a non-member, well, the price of just one of our subscriptions may be worth your whole Library membership. Take a walk through Fastcase, look under the hood at Hein Online, and start a voyage with ProQuest. Join us for a grand tour of Social Law Library’s remote offerings. See what you are missing. Save some money. And get the most out of Social Law!
