This program provides practitioners with an overview and discussion on current topics in the Cannabis law space, as well as practical pointers to assist those advising clients who are part of this regulated industry. During the first part of the program, attendees heard about recent updates to the Cannabis Control Commission’s regulations; licensing and enforcement of regulations; the municipal landscape; efforts to create an equitable industry; and federal issues and considerations. The second part of the program was a panel discussion that will include perspectives from attorneys with experience advising Cannabis businesses and municipalities; marijuana establishment compliance officers; and the Cannabis Control Commission.
