Medical debt collection tactics can be aggressive and may include wage garnishment, bank account seizure, liens on property, and even civil arrest warrants. The first hour of this webinar will cover state and federal level protections and discuss ways to pursue strategies for helping clients address overwhelming medical debt collections.

3 pm – 4 pm ET (coerced)

Kristen Bor-Zale, Esq., Greater Boston Legal Services

The second hour will focus on how to identify and begin to help clients facing Coerced Debt: debt that an abusive partner has taken out in the name of a survivor without their knowledge, or because the abusive partner used threats or force to make them take out the debt.
