We’re seeing headlines dominated by breathtaking verdicts and stratospheric settlements.  Industry insiders and observers are speaking about our entry into an era of Social Inflation.  Is that the case? And if so, what’s driving the trend?

This session will tackle the “new normal” of escalating claim losses and explosive jury verdicts. Our wide-ranging discussion will: (1) Define social inflation and describe how it impacts claim losses and jury verdicts; (2) Explore the “root causes” of social inflation and shock verdicts; (3) Address whether social inflation represents a legitimate industry threat; and (4) Identify what can be done to mitigate escalating claim losses and nuclear verdicts.

Online registration is encouraged. For assistance, questions on group discounts, accommodations requests, special billing, program content, out-of-state CLE credits, and general contact CLE Coordinator,  Michael Saporito by email at msaporito@socialaw.com.
