To receive credits attendees must be logged on during the program for a minimum of 80% of the conference time. Our distinguished panel from a cross-section of the criminal appellate community will provide appellate perspectives on trial advocacy, issue preservation, and judges’ views from the bench. The seminar will provide guidance on how to create the best appellate record from pre-trial motions all the way through verdict and beyond. This program will feature tips for any criminal trial lawyer (prosecution and defense) who desires to stay informed on issues to spot, techniques to use, and ways to foster strong relationships between trial and appellate attorneys. In addition, appellate attorneys will benefit from hearing a plethora of ideas about what to look for on appeal.

In this program, topics that will be covered include:

• Jury selection issues, objections, mid-trial motions, and jury instructions

• Post-verdict issues, including habeas preservation
• Avoiding BBO complaints

This product purchase is separate from CLE registration and is not included in the price of a CLE registration. CLE credit, when applicable, is only granted when the live webinar is attended.
