(April 28, 2020)
To effectuate the Supreme Judicial Court’s Updated Order of April 27th Restricting Court Appearances to Emergency Matters until June 1, 2020, the Social Law Library will be closed to all visitors, including dues paying-members and governmental users until at least June 1, 2020.
The Library will continue to restrict its hours to 8 am to 4:30 pm and only Reference Attorneys and other employees who must be on site will be working on the premises. All other employees will be working from home.
The Reference Attorneys will triage essential and pressing requests by phone (617-226-1520) or email (email@example.com).
If Library members need an item from the collection, the staff can retrieve it and, when permitted by copyright, fax or PDF it. If information cannot be electronically delivered, essential books and other items can be safely picked up and returned by appointment outside the main entrance to the John Adams Courthouse or can be mailed to your office or home. In order to set up a pickup, please reach out to the Circulation staff at 617-226-1500 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have a question about items you have checked out, please contact the Circulation Desk.
