We are pleased to announce that our search for a state court docket database is over. We found one that has robust offerings of Massachusetts state court dockets AND allows Social Law Library members remote access.
You can now search by parties, judges, keywords and more in Massachusetts state court dockets, or in 40 other jurisdictions from the your home or office. Simply log in to the Social Law Library Database page and click on “Trellis” from the left-hand column. No more finicky searching county-by-county on MassCourts.org. Now you can search across Massachusetts without specifying the court, even if you don’t have a party’s full name; or search by any keywords of your choosing – statutory cites, attorney and firm names, pleadings, common actions, and more.
Do you need a sample Motion to Dismiss; or would you like to run searches within the filings, or pull a Complaint on a specific topic? Try Trellis for these types of research requests and pull real-world examples. Trellis also includes Judicial analytics, so if you’re curious to see what kinds of cases a judge has ruled on, how often they grant motions, and their average length to trial or rulings on motions, log in now!
If you have any questions about accessing or using Trellis, you can contact Reference at reference@socialaw.com or (617)226-1520.
