Massachusetts residents have more protection from data security breaches with the approval of a law on January 10.  Credit Reporting Agencies that suffer system hacks will now have to provide free credit freezes and three years of credit monitoring for their customers. The legislation follows a major theft of information from Equifax in 2017.
