On April 14, 2016 the Social Law Library welcomed a sold-out audience to learn from a panel of five judges on a variety of current evidentiary issues. The presentation was an encore to a Flaschner Judicial Institute program from earlier in April so attorneys were afforded the same training Massachusetts judges received. The program was co-chaired by Hon. David A. Lowy and Mark S. Coven and featured superior court judges Hon. Heidi E. Breiger, Hon. Beverly J. Cannone, and Hon. Frank M. Graziano.
Topics included the occurring and reoccurring issues of:
• Often Raised Rarely Discussed Evidentiary Issues
• Admissibility of Electronic Evidence
• Evidentiary Issues in Domestic Violence Cases
• Informant Privilege
• Expert Testimony
• Substitute Expert Testimony
• Learned Treatise
• Year-in-Review Summary of New Cases and Issues
The Library would like to thank the faculty and audience for making this program a resounding success.
