Intellectual property is ubiquitous in the law, business and our culture. It is important for every lawyer to have a basic understanding of the types of intellectual property and the potential issues that are raised in their use and protection. This program is designed for professionals who want a better understanding of IP law to improve their ability to work with clients, IP lawyers, venture capitalists and others in the intellectual property field.
IP Law Basics is taught by one of the experts in the field who has taught many of the IP lawyers in Boston and who has written extensively on these topics. Andrew Beckerman-Rodau, is a professor at Suffolk University Law School and the co-director of the law school’s IP program.
