The two part “Risk Management Boot Camp: How to Avoid Common Practice Problems Before They Arise” series taught attendees how to minimize malpractice risk, select the proper legal entity and set up your office to limit liability, and handle staff and independent contractors appropriately.  The programs were presented as a collaborative effort by Herbert H. Landy Insurance Agency, Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program (LOMAP), and the Social Law Library.  The faculty, featuring Heidi S. Alexander, Esq., LOMAP, Chiara LaPlume, LaPlume Law, LLC, Jennifer L. Markowski, Peabody & Arnold LLP, Rebecca G. Pontikes, Pontikes Law, LLC, and John Torvi, Herbert H.
