On Thursday, July 16, 2015 the Social Law Library presented “Residential Closings Rules Update: TRID Countdown and Update” in anticipation of the October 3, 2015 changes to the Consumer Financial Protection Board’s TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID). The program’s expert panel, featuring Robert Kerwin, Esq. and Paula Frost of Mortgage Masters and Michael P. Krone, Esq. of Kriss Law and Atlantic Closing and Escrow, introduced Library members to the changes that will be impacting attorneys later this year. The panel and audience engaged in a lively discussion prompting one attendee to exclaim, “Superb!” The Library staff would like to extend a special thank you to the program’s moderator, Robert Kerwin, for approaching us with the idea for this program. Rob was an integral part of the planning process and the level of success the program achieved would not have been possible without him.
