SOCIAL LAW MEMBERS GET EXPANDED ACCESS TO KEY CONGRESSIONAL REPORTS

Posted: Feb 01, 2017

At some point every lawyer will need to search for the legislative history of a federal law.  Locating that Congressional House or Senate report that may shed light on the legislative intent behind a particular enactment has traditionally been a frustrating and time-consuming process. Beginning February 1, Social Law Library members will have in-Library access to thousands of reports from the ProQuest U. S. Serial Set, a database including the full text of the House and Senate Reports on every federal law enacted from 1817 to 2003.

Now members may visit the Library and search the Serial Set for themselves, or request House and Senate reports from the Copy Center, copycenter@socialaw.com.  For more information, call Reference at 617 226-1520 or email reference@socialaw.com
